BALKANS HIGHLIGHTS [14D/13N]

Day 01 | Arrive Zagreb (D)
  • Arrival Transfer to hotel in Zagreb 
  • Welcome Dinner
Day 02 | Zagreb - Plitvice (ABF, D)
  • Guided tour of Zagreb and Plitvice
  • Explore the medieval Upper Town. Walk along the cobblestone streets with red tile roof buildings. 
  • Visit St. Mark’s Church that includes many works of Ivan Mestrovic, Croatia’s most famous sculptor. 
  • Continue to the Plitvice Cathedral. See the Croatian National Theater & the  University. 
Day 03 | Plitvice (ABF,D)
  • The tour goes to Plitvice Lakes National Park on UNESCO's List of World Natural heritage. 
Day 04 | Plitvice - Split (ABF, D)
  • Visit Diocletian’s Palace, the massive building built by the Roman Emperor Diocletian. 
  • Explore the Peristyle, Jupiter’s Temple and the Cathedral. 
  • Afterwards, dinner then transfer to your hotel. 
Day 05 | Split - Dubrovnik (ABF,D)
  • Travel to Dubrovnik 
  • Explore the Franciscan Monastery and Europe’s 3rd oldest pharmacy. The tour goes to the Rector’s Palace
  • Visit the Cathedral and find the Cathedral Treasury. 
Day 06 | Dubrovnik - Medjugorje (ABF,D)
  • From Dubrovnik, proceed to the pilgrimage city of Medjugorje. 
  • Upon arrival, check in to your hotel. 
  • Rest of the day is free for private devotion. 
Day 07 | Medjugorje - Mostar - Sarajevo (ABF,D)
  • Morning guided tour of Mostar – see the Home of Old Bridge. 
  • Visit the town of Blagaj with the largest karst spring in Europe.
  • Get to the famous Dervish Tekija 
  • Continue to Pocitelj to explore the Ottoman style town. 
  • Travel to Mogorjelo
  •  Admire the beautiful Kravica Waterfalls
  • Continue to Sarajevo for overnight
Day 08 | Sarajevo (ABF,D)
  • Morning explore the capital city of Bosnia and Herzegovina
  • Visit the Catholic Cathedral, Orthodox Church and Jewish synagogue. 
  • The afternoon is free
Day 09 | Sarajevo - Zagreb (ABF,D)
  • After breakfast, prepare for a long distance drive back to Zagreb
  • Arrive in Zagreb in the late afternoon
  • Check in to your hotel. Balance of the day is free. 
Day 10 | Zagreb - Ljubljana (ABF,D)
  • Travel to Ljubljana, Slovenia 
  • Walk in the Old Town 
  • Get to Ljubljana Castle and enjoy the magnificent views all over the city. 
Day 11 | Ljubljana - Lake Bled - Ljubljana (ABF,D)
  • Explore the little white church on an island in the center of an emerald green mountain lake. 
  • See the Bled Castle perched high above, amidst the Julian Alps. 
  • Continue to Skofja Loka
  • Back to Ljubljana
Day 12 | Ljubljana - Zagreb (ABF,D)
  • After breakfast, return to Zagreb, Croatia  
  • Transfer to the airport for your flight back to Manila.
